	August 31 - September 1, 2008 Afortek's mobile solar hot water system including a sink and faucet with running water, and a radiator for space heating, made its debut at the Hymers Fall Fair. The mobile demonstration unit generated considerable interest.

	July 14, 2008 Afortek's demo solar hot water system (2 x 15 tube collectors) has produced 3,412,000 BTUs (1 MWh or 1,000 kWh) since its installation on April 14, 2008. That is an average of 37,911 BTUs per day. That's impressive - especially with the dismal weather we have had this spring.

	June 20, 2008 From www.cbc.ca Latest Feature Story A Thunder Bay company is hoping to take the shock out of paying for your drive to work. Afortek sells electric bikes. Right now, Ontario's Ministry of Transportation is trying out a pilot project. It lets people to ride an "e-bike" on most roads without a license or insurance.
